The installation process of a supercomputer has commenced at Yerevan State University (YSU).
YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan announced that the supercomputer was acquired with government funding and is equipped with 64 NVIDIA H100 computing cards.
He noted that the construction of the Data Processing Center has been completed, allowing the installation phase to begin.
“The installation of the supercomputer at YSU will contribute to the development of national capabilities in high-performance computing and artificial intelligence, stimulate scientific research, support the implementation of innovative programs, modernize educational processes, and expand inter-university, public, and private sector cooperation for the technological advancement of the Republic of Armenia,” the YSU rector noted.
